currently, i have a borrowed (and no broken) powerglide with a 1.82:1 first gear planetary set. it has an old 8" ati 4400 stall that was built for a 400hp 2600lb monza in 1988. it's just not really setup for a 550hp 3400lb car. the car is still rocking 4.11's and a 28" drag radial so the 2.48:1 first gear of the th400 will be severely appreciated
