hello y´all, in my previous post i had this problem with the oil pressure, special when its hot, chance the iac valve but nothing happened, ive two questions, is there any procedure to chance the aic valve ? please someone tell me, and also i bought the oil pressure switch but i dunno where is it? does anyone knows where is it? PLEASE HELP, ive a 1985 tpi irocz

well i thought the iac had something to do because its in the throttle body, so what is related to the oil pressure?

sorry for askin again, but where is the oil pump located nitemare? and also wheres the oil pressure switch? is the oil pressure swith the "gauge" that u mentioned?

either the guage is just reading wrong or the sender ofr the guage is bad, the pump is going out or the motor is worn out and bearing clearances are causing the low pressure issue. hopefully the first two are your culprit, because the other two require removing the engine, and most likely a rebuild.
go to autozone and buy a mechanical oil pressure guage and install it where the electronic sender is (on the back of the block right behind the intake beside the distributor.) if it reads the same, then youve got internal issues. takes about 30 minutes and about 15 bucks was what i paid for my cheap autozone mechanical guage
