removal of rocker arm studs

Postby 80's-kids » Mon Feb 12, 2007 8:55 pm

I have a 87' GM Motor and I want to remove the OEM rocker arm studs.
How? there is no bolt on the stud, it's just a stud.

they're just pressed in, with a (very) good tug they'll pull out.

what are you going to do when you yank them out? If your putting screw in studs that have the nut at the base, you have to cut down the stud boss about .350 before you can tap the hole to put them in
